Welcome to Garden Lane Layettes web site. This is our first experience on the web and were very excited about it. We began our business about 5 years ago and this is the story of how it all started: Having been a blanket buyer for a New York City department store and then a salesperson for a leading baby blanket manufacturer, I always had a lot of blankets around the house. I thought I knew everything there was to know about blankets. But, was I surprised when my husband returned home from a European business trip with a baby blanket as a gift for our new daughter. It was different from any baby blanket I had ever seen and it quickly became Michaelas favorite. The smooth high pile was so soft and cuddly it was easy to understand why. And when Kelly and Brendan came along, they each wanted their own. The problem was that this type of blanket is not produced here in the United States. Thats when we decided to design and import our own and offer them to others like yourself. As you can see from our site we have grown from our infant stage. We keep growing in order to give our customers more choices. We take pride in the fact that all of our items are high quality and custom designed for comfort, durability and easy care.
