I never really gave much thought to cloth diapering before I became pregnant. In fact I never gave much thought to parenting before becoming pregnant. True to my personality I set out to research and learn as much as I could about pregnancy, childbirth, babies, and parenting as possible. When I get into something its an all or nothing affair. I learned that natural is usually better. I learned that theres a term for the way I felt about caring for babies, its called attachment parenting. I discovered a community of mamas at Mothering and it really set about a change in my life. I am happier, healthier, more confident, more outgoing, and living a much more positive life than ever before. The support of these wise, knowledgable, mamas is incredible. I eventually discovered the diapering forum in my journey and hunger for knowledge. I learned I enjoy cloth diapering. Cloth diapering is fun! I then discovered sewing cloth diapers is even more fun! It turns out I come from a long line of sewing mamas. My great grandmother was a dress maker, my grandmother was equally talented. My other grandmother enjoys sewing, her passion is sewing lingerie. My mother also sews. Between the lot of them I had plenty of beautiful, hand made clothing growing up.
