My Sweetdreams Baby was started in February 2004. At that time my first son was 7 months old and I already knew that staying at home with him was the most important thing I could ever do. I would not trade the opportunity to be a stay at home mom for anything. But, as a stay at home mom I hoped to find a way to provide a little bit of extra income for my family, so My Sweet Dreams Baby was founded. Before I had my son I made him a special blanket. It was a fun yellow print with giraffes, monkeys, zebras, and other fun jungle animals. Everywhere we took the blanket I got compliments on it. I began making other blankets in a variety of fabrics. I have found that they make fantastic gifts-something that new mothers treasure. Soon I had the idea to start a business selling them. I called them Sweetdreams Blankets. Originally My Sweetdreams Baby carried these blankets, however, with time they have been phased out and new and better products have been added instead. Since the time that My Sweet Dreams Baby was started, my second son was born and the business has grown tremendously. We now carry many retail items as well and are always thrilled to offer great new baby items!
